Rodolfo Gomez Paredes

He began his professional career in 2001 in the Madrid branch of CRAWFORD & COMPANY (Spain), in the Property Damage and Energy Departments where he carried out claims management and loss adjustment in several types of claims: renewable energy projects (photo-voltaic, cogeneration, SF6-isolated electrical substations and fires in warehouses and workshops, as well as loss of profit claims.

In 2003 he joined AON (Spain) -a corporate business unit of Aon- as Head of Property Damage Management, Internal technical consultancy for account executives in the ACB unit (AON Corporate business), Design of technical proposals and strategies for several tenders (Royal Mail & Telegraphs, EULEN group, INDITEXT group) and Risk evaluation in a number of Industrial facilities (Brewing facilities, soft-drink manufacturers, textile and clothing manufacturers, petrochemical plants…)

After this period, in 2004 he became a co-founder and manager of GD-INCO, Ingeniería & Consultoría (Spain), a Madrid-based consultancy, architecture and engineering company with over 40 employees, specializing in civil works, technical and industrial installations.

During this period he took charge of the management -design, supervision and start-up- of several international projects in Spain, Mexico, Panama, Chile, Angola, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and China: construction and civil engineering projects (hospitals, shopping malls, sports facilities, markets and logistics centers) and industrial projects (coal mines, hydrocarbon storage sites, coal storage sites, silicon mines…)

Since 2012 he is Country Manager in the Mexican branch of Abaco International Loss Adjusters (comprising the Central American and Caribbean regions), where he works as an international senior adjuster in casualties regarding physical damages, loss of profit and civil liability claims. He is also in charge of the management and development of Abaco’s  activities in Mexico.
