Juan Miguel Perez Soto

He is a technical Agricultural Engineer by the Escuela de Ingeniería Técnica de Sevilla Cortijo de Cuarto (Spain), and he holds a master’s degree in Loss Valuation and Appraisal by the Universidad Politécnica de Sevilla (Spain).

He has over 13 years’ experience as an Adjuster in the Losses and Civil Liability areas, and he has FUEDI-NLAE and CNSF (Mexico) qualifications.

In 2004 he joined the Seville office of Crawford & Company, attending Civil Liability and Damage claims.

In 2006 he joined the Seville branch of Abaco International Loss Adjusters as an adjuster in the Civil Liability and Damage Departments.

In 2008 he was appointed to the headquarter offices in Madrid to join the Industrial Department, where he carried out relevant loss adjustments in renewable energy power plants (photovoltaic, wind and solar thermal energy), machinery breakdowns (combined cycle and cogeneration plants) as well as several interventions in North-African gas pipelines.

In 2013 he took charge of the management and start-up of the Cancun branch of Abaco, carrying out important loss adjustment in hotel resorts in Mexico, caused by machinery breakdown as well as by hurricanes and fires –both in the Riviera Maya and in Baja California. He took part in several Civil Liability adjustments following damage in leisure centers and hotels in Mexico and Dominican Republic.

In 2016 he took responsibility for the start-up and development of the Energy Department in Abaco Mexico, carrying out adjustments in Wind Farms (in Mexico and Central America), as well as in several Gas pipelines and Combined Cycle and Cogeneration power plants.

Since 2017 he is the Technical Manager of Abaco international Loss Adjusters in Mexico.
