In 1995 she started working for INTEGRAL S.A (Colombia) as an engineering geologist, taking care of the inspection and geotechnical supervision of several road projects’ studies and design, designing and organizing excavation works for material resources in Hydroelectric Projects, as well as defining and evaluating the geotechnical conditions in any of the works comprised within the feasibility phase of Hydroelectric Projects. Additionally, she has also been in charge of the revision and inspection of geotechnical foundations and slope stability studies related to the improvement and paving of the Mexican National road infrastructure , the restoration and recovery of bridges and the instrumentation of Hydroelectric Projects and Landfills until 1999.
During the following year (1999-2000) she took on the position of Engineer in the Insurance Unit, taking care of damage assessment and loss evaluation in Civil Works. From 2000 on, she promoted to Mexican Project Manager in Damage assessment and loss evaluation in Civil Works.
During the period between 2003 and 2007, she worked as an independent engineer in insurance companies in Mexico, making technical reports for Civil Work losses, submitting damage assessment in construction losses and carrying out Risk Inspections in Civil Works.
In 2007 she joined Abaco International Loss Adjusters, where she carries out technical reports in Civil Works losses, damage evaluation in construction losses and Crack and Damage protocol surveys for road infrastructure projects. The aim of these Crack and Damage surveys is to determine the vulnerability of the adjacent infrastructure as well as assessing possible Civil Liability and CAR damages.
