We are delighted to announce that, following her departure from Sedgwick International UK, Sarah Civil will be joining Abaco International Loss Adjusters as UK Country Manager.
Prior to joining us Sarah had worked as the Director responsible for the successful launch of EFI Global in the UK (Sedgwick’s environmental and cause and origin investigation service) and also as Business Development Director for the Specialty areas of Sedgwick’s business.
Prior to the Sedgwick acquisition of Cunningham Lindsey (CL), Sarah was the Director with responsibility for growth and development of Corporate Risks and the Specialist Practice Groups at CL; with focus on Cyber and Technology, Marine, Media and Entertainment, Construction and Engineering.
Sarah had for many years, prior to joining CL, headed up Crawford’s Global Technical Services (GTS) – its worldwide high-end adjusting business – in the UK. Under her leadership it developed and grew and involved her being responsible for adjusting teams in Property Major Loss, Marine and Transportation, Power, Energy, Construction, Engineering, International Casualty and Aviation, handling losses in the UK as well as on an International basis. She also managed their response to various international catastrophe events, in particular the Christchurch earthquakes, and sat on their Global “GTS” Council.
Sarah has an excellent reputation and is very well known throughout the Market.
Within Abaco, Sarah will be focusing on developing the UK area of the business, growing UK-based instructions to other Abaco Group operations worldwide, and on personally providing specialised consultancy services.
