Bachelor’s degree in Merchant Navy (Escuela Superior de Náutica y Máquinas Navales de Portugalete, Universidad del País Vasco)

In November 1994 he joined COMISMAR CONTROL, S.A. as a Freight inspector, where he worked until February 2001, when he was appointed to IUS IBERIA, S.L. -a company belonging to the COMISMAR group, as an inspector in the Basque Country area, where he carried out Technical Inspections in Ships, loss adjustment in the Hull Department, cargo damage, inspections prior to the issuance of an environmental insurance policy and verification of Fires and theft risks. Besides the company’s merger with AVANT, from the ATISAE group, on May 31, 2008, he continued to work in the same activities.

In October 2010 he joined the Bilbao branch of Abaco Asesores Periciales as a Freight and Hull surveyor.
