Lucas Moreno Parra

Civil engineer (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) qualified with a Level 3 MECES Certificate (master’s degree) and a Level 7 Civil Engineering correspondence, according to the European Qualifications Frame.

He has over 18 years of experience as an Insurance appraisal expert. He began his professional career in the Construction sector, as a structural calculations specialist in CECOMAR (1987 – 1988). He later went on as COMYLSA’s Head of Cost Control and Quality Assurance. From 1990 to 1998 he joined CONSTRUCCIONES SAN MARTIN, where he took on several positions in the site managing field: he worked as a site manager in industrial and civil works projects and as Head of Technical Office during the development of the « Puerta de Europa-KIO Towers » works in Madrid, as well as General Site Manager.

He began his career as an Insurance Company surveyor in 1998, working in ALEA Peritaciones, followed by a period in CRAWFORD & COMPANY (Spain) where he provided his professional services as an external collaborator by carrying out damage surveys (Physical Damage and Civil Liability), and taking responsibility for the development and control affairs of the company’s Construction Department.

In July 2004 he took part in the creation of Abaco Asesores Periciales as one of its founding members, where he carries out surveys and appraisals.

Since 2008 has taken on responsibilities for the management, development and control of the Industrial, Engineering and Services Department, as well as taking over as the manager for the Madrid branch first, and later as a General Manager for Spain.
