He began his professional career in the naval design sector in 1996, when working on the design project of an Advanced Vessel in the Unión Naval shipyard. Until 1997 he carried out technical and commercial tasks regarding technical surveys, projects, appraisals, standardization documents, etc. in the engineering company “Proname” in Barcelona. In 1998 he worked as Projects Manager at Debeer, a company devoted to the industrial rescue and recovery fields, taking part in recovery operations in both maritime and industrial damages.
From 1998 onwards he worked as an Assistant to the Technical Manager in Comisar, -answering to the Technical Manager- carrying out his business activity in the Hull, General Risks and IT Departments, where he mainly performed surveying, business relationship with clients, technical assistance to the surveyor’s network and appraisal work (Hulls, Industrial Risks, Civil Liability, Loss of Profit and Vessels, Ships and Industrial goods Valuation)
In 2000 he was designated Technical Manager of IUS, a company which specializes in the Regulatory Inspection of leisure crafts according to the 1434/99 Royal Ordinance, a job which he combined with his former work, as previously described.
Additionally he has also carried out relevant interventions in any operations regarding Technical Inspections and Valuations, both in the Maritime and Industrial sector.
In October 2004 he joined the Madrid branch of Abaco Asesores Periciales, where he carries out Hull and Industrial Risks Adjustment.
From february 2006 he has takes on responsibilities over the development, coordination and control of the Hull Area, which he combines with his industrial surveying work.
In June 2009 he took on the position of Manager in the Energy Area of Abaco International Loss Adjusters. In 2014 he became directly responsible for Abaco’s expansion in North America, actively participating in appraisal works in several countries.
