Guillermo Muñoz Mora

Guillermo is a lawyer from the Universidad Católica de Santa María de Arequipa (UCSM) with a second specialisation in labour and social security law from the PUCP, a Master in Finance and Corporate Law from ESAN and an MBA from ESADE-Spain and the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile.

His experience and knowledge have become a reference in the field of insurance law, social security and occupational health and safety, being recognised as a guest lecturer in the main postgraduate schools in the country.

With a 13-year career in one of the main insurance companies in Peru, where he played key roles in claims management and general risk underwriting, Guillermo demonstrated his ability to successfully manage complex and strategic operations. Subsequently, he joined one of the leading adjusting firms in the region, where he spent 3 years as a claims manager for Liability and Financial Lines, consolidating his experience in these specialised areas, and now, as Country Manager of Abaco's Peru operation, Guillermo leads the development of the business and provides comprehensive support to improve the management and handling of complex claims. His proactive approach, combined with his in-depth knowledge of the industry, positions him as a reliable and visionary leader, capable of driving growth and operational excellence in his organisation.
