Jaime Linares, current CEO of Abaco Colombia has been appointed Regional Director of Abaco in Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Peru and Guatemala) with competencies in the commercial and operational areas. Jaime will reconcile his new job with his previous position in Colombia, reporting to the Corporate General Director of Latin America, Ignacio Martí.
Jaime Linares is a lawyer by profession and holds specializations in Insurance and Social Security, Transnational Business and an MBA. He has more than 17 years of experience in the Colombian insurance market in companies such as Allianz and Aon, both in the legal and claims areas, and has been linked to the Abaco Group since 2014.
Given the volume already acquired by our operations in Latin America, and the projects underway for new openings, it was necessary the figure of a Regional Director located in the territory, which allows us to offer an even more agile response to the requirements of the market in the area, the experience and professionalism of Jaime, make him the ideal person for this purpose, says Ignacio Martí.
