Abaco is proud to be part of the Organizing Committee of the Latam Gateway Summit that will take place in Miami on October 11th 2017.
It will focus on Latin American insurance and reinsurance issues. The economic climate, claims, underwriting and opportunities unique to Latin America will be explored. Insurers, reinsurers, risk managers, brokers and vendors based in Miami, Latin America, the U.S., London and Europe are invited to attend.
Alan Tucker will speak from his perspective as UK Director at Abaco, where he manages a wide range of cases in the construction, energy, renewables, property, engineering, marine and political risks sectors. Alan has over 15 years of experience as an adjuster, predominantly in the oil and gas sector. In that time he has handled numerous claims, including DSU, BI/LOPI, PD and COW/OEE in onshore and offshore settings. After a short break from adjusting, Alan moved to Brazil where he collaborated with several Adjusters, becoming fluent in Portuguese. In 2015 Alan joined Abaco as Managing Director of the new UK office, based in London.
