In 1994 he joined EMPRESA NACIONAL SANTABARBARA in Madrid as an intern in the Numerical Simulation Department, carrying out finite elements calculations.
He began his professional career in 1999 working as Site manager, Head of steelwork, paint and other services, Head of Basic Engineering and ship repairs in several naval shipyards. During the final phase in this period (2009-2013) he also took on the position of Project Manager for newly constructed ships.
He started his career as a Surveyor for Insurance Companies in September 2013, when he joined the Transport and Hull Department in Abaco International Loss Adjusters.
Since then he has taken part in loss adjustments regarding ships, maritime terminals, shipyards and aquaculture. He has also issued reports for the valuation, assessment and arbitrage of shipyards as well as the construction and reparation of ships within national territory and abroad.
