Abaco International Loss Adjusters are pleased to announce the opening of their London office on 2 November 2015. Based in the Leadenhall Building the office will be headed by Alan Tucker, UK Country Manager and Global Head of Oil & Gas, who joins from Braemar Adjusting and will be working alongside Nicola Maguire, International Liability & Business Development Director. Alan brings with him a wealth of London market focused adjusting experience across a range of disciplines which will facilitate Abaco’s expansion plans and provide the ability to access insurance and reinsurance claims which are London-centred. The London office will provide support to our international offices and enhance our ability to communicate with all parties involved in the claims process wherever they are based.
Along with a BSc. Hons in Maritime Law and Naval Architecture and an MBA in Oil & Gas Management, Alan has 20 years adjusting experience, predominantly in Energy. Alan has handled both onshore and offshore claims across all aspects of exploration, construction and production and involving DSU, PD, COW and operations leading to LOPI/BI. Alan comments: “I am looking forward to joining Abaco’s team of professional adjusters and to offering an efficient, responsive, client-centric claims adjusting service. Abaco offer a network of 22 offices across EMEA, Latin America and North America; a further 12 associate offices extending as far as Australasia and, as a founding member of the CONTEXT network, can also access a further 300 offices across 40 countries. This is a significant resource that until now has been largely untapped by Insurers and Reinsurers in London.”
